Equipment Overview
The nitrogen circulating flash dryer is a new type of closed dryer developed by Yongbang on the basis of foreign advanced technology. The closed-circuit drying system works in a closed environment. The inert gas drying medium improves the safety factor of the equipment, and realizes the drying production of organic solvents and solvent materials in the pharmaceutical, biochemical, chemical, biological and other technical fields. The recovery of solvents has the practicability of safe production, high efficiency, low consumption, energy saving and emission reduction.
The nitrogen circulating flash dryer is composed of drying host, heater, bag filter, condenser, fan and silo. The whole drying process is carried out under the protection of nitrogen under the condition of extremely low oxygen, the product quality is good, and the danger of oxidation, decomposition, combustion and explosion is avoided. The system can solve the problem of organic solvent recovery, easy oxidation and toxic materials drying, suitable for flammable, explosive and toxic cake-like, paste-like, mud-like materials and materials containing organic solvents drying and organic solvent recovery.
Working principle
Before the system is used, nitrogen is used to replace the air in the system, so that the oxygen content in the system reaches the safe concentration of the solvent. The circulating nitrogen enters the flash dryer after being heated by the heating device. Wet materials enter the spiral feeding mechanism of the flash dryer from the conveying device, and the spiral feeder can be frequency-controlled. The material enters the drying and crushing chamber through screw conveying, then is crushed by blades rotating at high speed and with different angles, and is hit by the high-temperature air flow entering the cyclone drying chamber at high speed, rotating at high speed and carrying up. At this time, the air flow temperature drops rapidly, and the water in the material evaporates rapidly to complete the drying process. Oversized materials are blocked by the elutriation ring and fall to the drying and crushing chamber to continue crushing until fine powder rice is obtained.
The dried materials enter the cyclone separator with the high-speed and high-temperature airflow. At this time, more than 95% of the materials are separated and sink into the collecting bin, and the remaining small amount of materials enter the pulse bag filter with the airflow. The air flow enters from the outside of the filter bag and is discharged upward after filtering. In order to prevent material accumulation in the filter bag, the pulse solenoid valve is timed, and compressed air is input into the filter bag from the upper part of each filter bag in turn, so that the material yield can reach more than 99.5.
The tail gas enters the multi-stage condenser (the pressure drop of the finned condenser is small and the condensation effect is good) to condense the solvent in the hot and humid gas. The condensed solvent is collected by the collection tank and stored (zero emission to the air and can be recycled). The dry nitrogen after condensation and dehumidification is then sent to the heater for recycling through the blower.
Performance characteristics
This technology adopts rotary grinding flash dryer. The material is refined due to centrifugation, shearing and collision and is highly dispersed. The mass transfer and heat transfer are enhanced due to the large relative speed between the two phases. Hot air produces strong rotational movement in the drying chamber, which produces strong scouring effect on the material on the wall of the device and eliminates the phenomenon of wall sticking.
Material drying time is short, to ensure the quality of the material.
The system is a fully dense group structure, and the equipment is filled with inert gas (such as ammonia). When drying anaerobic materials or materials containing flammable and explosive solvents, there is no oxygen in the gas and it cannot be burned or oxidized. It can effectively avoid fire or explosion accidents during production, so it is safer than ordinary equipment.
The system carries on the ammonia gas seal to all the dynamic equipment, uses the oxygen analyzer to analyze the oxygen content of the system on-line, improves the safety of the system.
Due to the closed-circuit operation, no exhaust gas and dust are discharged into the atmosphere, so it will not cause environmental pollution.
After the product is dried in a closed-circuit system, it is easy to cool in the original system and will not absorb moisture.
optimization design
In a closed cycle flash drying process, the drying medium is typically an inert gas, such as nitrogen or carbon dioxide gas. The heated high-temperature inert gas enters the dryer for heat and mass exchange with wet materials, and the wet materials are dried and separated by cyclone separator and bag filter. Inert gas with higher humidity and lower temperature enters the spray tower for cooling and dehumidification, and inert gas with lower moisture content is sent to the heater for heating by the circulating fan, thus continuously circulating.
★Wet material joining
At the feeding port that is easy to leak, a micro-positive pressure should be designed to prevent oxygen in the atmosphere from entering it. If the star feeder is used, the wet material often blocks the feeder and cannot operate. If the general screw feeder is used for feeding, the feeding phenomenon at the feeding port is serious, the environment is very poor, manual operation is impossible, and the feeding is very abnormal. Therefore, the double screw feeder with staggered blades and mutual biting is adopted, and the vertical auger pressing device is configured on the silo to form a material seal, which eliminates the phenomenon of material spraying, thus ensuring uniform, quantitative, continuous and stable feeding.
★dry product capture
For this light and fine material, gas-solid separation is difficult. In this closed-circuit circulation drying system, if the gas-solid separation is not good, the material loss will increase, and it will have a greater negative impact on the cooling and dehumidification system and the heating system.
★Circulating fan
The total resistance of the closed-circuit circulation drying system is relatively high. In order to reduce the leakage inside and outside the system, the positive pressure and negative pressure in the system cannot be high. The system is designed as two fans in series and placed separately, one is placed between the bag filter and the spray tower, and the other is placed between the filter and the heater. The shaft seal of the circulating fan has a great influence on the oxygen content of the drying medium, and the success or failure of the shaft seal design determines whether the whole system can operate normally. After research and analysis, in this high temperature, containing a certain amount of dust, poor lubrication conditions, the use of magnetic fluid seal can get a better sealing effect.
★Dry medium dehumidification
The drying medium must be dehumidified and reach a lower moisture content before it can be recycled. The general use of cooling dehumidification, cooling can be frozen liquid or cooling water, frozen liquid cooling investment and operating costs are high. The spray tower adopts Bauer porcelain ring packing, the gas-liquid contact is sufficient and the effect is good.
★Sealing of mechanical rotating parts
There are many mechanical rotating parts in the drying system, such as wind turbine, feeder, auger, etc. Although their speed is not high, but a lot of sealing points, such as sealing design is not good, the leakage of the system will be very large.
